The $33 million Wallypower 118 is the sickest boat I have ever seen. It is 118 feet long and powered by five engines; 2 diesels for tooting around the marina, and 3 jet turbines, for pirating at over 70 MPH. At top speed it guzzles a liter of fuel per second, which limits the range of its 22 ton fuel tanks to 400 nautical miles (compared to 1,500 nm if you’re just putting around with the diesels at 9 knots).
Check out more images of the Wallypower 118 BELOW.

The Telectroscope was built by artist/inventor Paul St. George and connects New York and London via a massive tunnel you can look through and see out the other end.
“The Telectroscope started off as a totally unintentional hoax in the 1870s,” explains St George, who is the leading expert on this forgotten backwater of Victorian technology. “It came about through an error. A French editor misread a report about the invention of a thing called the Electroscope - which is all to do with static electricity - and called it a Telectroscope. He also misinterpreted its purpose. “The fascinating thing is that his misunderstanding of what it did - to communicate face to face over a vast distance - really caught fire.
Needless to say there is no such massive tunnel. The end portals were just made to look like they’re heading through the earth. In actuality, they’re connected via “fiber optic cabling, and an HD camera and projector on either end provide live streaming video. But who really cares, you can still look in one end of this device in New York and see out the other in London. You’ll find one end next to the Brooklyn Bridge, and the other across the pond, next to Tower Bridge.”

We all suspected it, but now it is confirmed: someone very, very close to the 3G iPhone launch has told me that Apple will announce their new model at the WWDC Keynote on June 9th. The second-generation iPhone will be available worldwide right after the launch, and not at year’s end, as previously thought. The new model will also herald new sales policies in some countries.
In Spain, for example, the 3G iPhone will be available for sale at the June 18th grand opening of Telefonica’s megastore—an Apple Store-like shop located in the company’s historical building in Madrid’s Gran Vía— with nationwide availability the next day or after a few hours. The other European countries with iPhone availability will have similar launch schedules.
According to another source involved in the launch, the 3G iPhone will no longer be available at a fixed price point—at least in some countries, and its launch will also bring new sales policies, although these have not been completely specified yet.
The move is a logical step, since the iPhone has clearly solidified its position as the cellphone to beat during the last 12 months, and companies in the cutthroat European cellphone market need to use it as an incentive to capture clients aggressively.
This most probably means the new 3G iPhone will be integrated in the usual marketing systems of carriers, with point-based trade-ups, discounts for carrier switchers and other service-based subvention packages. Check out the Apple Store BELOW for new and upcoming products/updates.

This remarkable design is the Sync Desktop from designer Gareth Battensby. The desk includes a fold away screen and keyboard, built in USB hub for peripherals, scanner, webcam, mouse, and storage space for CDs and stationary. Also, the easy to access power and DVD unit mean you don’t have to lean over your chair to get to them. The desk flaunts avantgarde design and clean lines. Though, still a concept, but if it runs into production then this is undoubtedly one of the best PC desks we have ever seen. Thoughts?

We’ve all thought it while out for drinks: “Why do I have to wait for the waitress/waiter to bring us another pitcher? Why can’t we just have a beer tap right here at the table?” Well, apparently this dream has become reality in Atlanta, Georgia. This sports bar is definitely not the first of it’s kind (these tap systems have been in South America and Europe for nearly a decade), but God bless twenty-six year old Jeff Libby for bringing his version of this brilliant invention to the US of A!
The Table Tender will hopefully be coming to a sports bar near you very soon. Along with all the genius creations of the past few decades, this just might be the greatest. Gone are the days of having to communicate or even get off your ass for a beer. Cheers!

RIM has finally unveiled the BlackBerry 9000 we’ve been hearing rumors about and officially launched the BlackBerry Bold.
That display comes as a 480×320 pixel, 65,000 color VGA screen. The other most notable feature is the wireless connection options available… It’s a GSM 850/900/1800/1900 phone and has HSDPA/UMTS (850/1900/2100) support which has never before been available on a Blackberry, and apparently they’ve done it right without sacrificing battery life in the process. Not to mention the BlackBerry Bold is also connected via Wi-Fi (a/b/g), Bluetooth 2.0 and GPS.
The insides come packed with a a 624MHz Intel PXA270 processor, 128MB Flash memory, 1GB of onboard storage and can be expanded with microSD cards up to 16GB. It’s also equipped with a 2MP camera with 5x zoom and video recording and decent built-in speakers. Surfing the web has even been upgraded in this new BlackBerry with a new web browser that supports both mobile and regular desktop views of web pages. Click below to update and or see updates for your Blackberry.

Given the way gas prices are going, it might actually be worth it to splurge and drop $9,995 on the eFuel100 MicroFueler. Apparently, this personal ethanol generator can produce up to 35 gallons of ethanol in a week’s time, which can be used to power literally any regular car. All you need to do is plug it in to a water and power source, then add either sugar and yeast or—wait for it—discarded alcohol. That’s right, those moldy Popov Vodka bottles that have been collecting dust in your basement since college could be fueling your car.
The haters will tell you that ethanol is no better than gasoline, but does it really matter? If we could generate unlimited gas for free using a couple bottles of 151, we’d still be burnin’ up the ozone like no tomorrow. After the jump, watch an introductory video for the MicroFueler via YouTube.

BCXSY designed this hand-crafted polygonal aquarium from hand-cut glass so that fish endlessly swim around the geometrical shape. Similar to modern-day insane asylums, which are designed with connected lap-like hallways instead of dead end hallways, the fish can swim around in circles ’till their heart’s content. Feel free to click on the source for more pics.
